If the the FA punish Bowen, with fine or ban, they will show themselves to be utter cunts.
Anyone with at least 2 working brain cells knows that the tweet doesn't make the 15 year old Jarred Bowen a racist. So punishing for it 9 years late is ridiculous.
When I was that age, some of my mates used racial "language" around me, but it was obvious they were not racist, or they would not want me as a friend.

This is where we are going unfortunately. Woke Warriors trawling the depths of twitter to find sins past and get people fired, ruined or cancelled. Not for one minute suggesting that people shouldn't be held accountable for what they post in the public domain but it has to be more 'in the moment', directly offensive and certainly never mind the rantings of a pre-pubescent teenager. Trautmann described himself as a prevoiusly fanatical Nazi, and was initially catagorised in the top of three categories.
The British classification of German POWs developed to protect non-Nazi POWs from the Nazi ones, with the lowest category being non-Nazi, and the top one the one containing people who might kill people in the bottom category.
I believe this followed from some real killings.
Trautmann may have been merely naive rather than murderous, and his reclassification in the lowest category was absolutely right.
But there is such a thing as dangerous naivety.
